Meet AWF’s New Board Members

Last month we welcomed eight new members to the AWF Board of Directors. The new class of board members are leaders in their field and the community, representing a range of industries from across Atlanta.

The new members of the Board of Directors are:

Fiona graduated with a Bachelor of Art in English Literature from Rhodes College. She is the Director, Communications and Government Affairs, North America for Novelis where she has grown through the ranks for the past nine years

Prior to that, she worked at LexisNexis, at Gerdau Ameristeel (now Gerdau Long Steel North America); and International Paper. In all roles, she has served in Media Relations, Employee Communications, Crisis Communications Government Affairs Social Media, Social Media Engagement, Analyst Relations: Insurance Technology, Issues Management, and Community Relations.

Sirita is the Head of Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Finastra. Prior to that, she was Executive Director of Talent, Diversity and Culture and Inclusion Leader at NCR Corporation where she worked for almost 10 years. During her tenure, she held different roles in Information Systems, Global Process Improvement, and Project Management.

Sirita is a proud graduate of Ohio State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communications and a Master’s degree in Labor and Human Resources.

Tish is an experienced professional with diverse career background spanning nearly 20 years, with experience and expertise in finance and business analysis, organizational and process design, strategy and business development, and marketing.  Her time at Cox Enterprises, Inc. began in 2005.  She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business Atlanta, GA, a Master of Science in Accountancy from- University of Notre Dame, and a Bachelor of Science – Business Administration Florida A&M University, Mobley School of Business and Industry.

Monique joined International Market Centers after 21 years at Incite Strategies, Inc. (ISHR Group), where she was the CEO and Founding Partner, responsible for providing executive assessment, development, and coaching services to corporate and private equity/portfolio companies globally. Previously, Monique worked in Human Resources at General Electric and General Motors.

She graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Psychology, holds a Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations from Michigan State University, and a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School. She holds a certificate from the UC-Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute.

Julie graduated with a BA in Psychology, from Yale University and MBA from Columbia Business School. She is a certified executive coach by the Columbia Coaching Certification Program and a certified International Coach Federation (ICF) coach. In her leadership development role at Delta Air Lines, Julie is primarily responsible for facilitating accelerated development programs and foundational leadership curriculum for senior leaders and front-line leaders respectively; Supporting senior leaders on their leadership retreats and developing new leadership programs, and enhancing existing ones.

Heather graduated with a B.S. in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.  She joined Colliers International in 2020 and is the Co-Market Leader of Colliers Atlanta Landlord Services Group focused exclusively on representing Atlanta’s forward-thinking office building landlords.

Prior to joining Colliers, Heather led the leasing for more than 7 million square feet of office buildings and completed over $600 million in leasing transactions, most recently as Senior Vice President with CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services. Throughout her 18-year career in commercial real estate, Heather has emerged as a leader within the local industry becoming one of the most recognized names in office leasing in the Atlanta area.

Passionate about creating lasting change, community engagement, and empowering others, she is the Global Strategy and Change Leader at Habitat for Humanity International. She has deep experience as an inspiring global HR leader, certified change management practitioner, and skilled management consultant. Libby leads by example, coaching and developing high-performing, motivated teams through empowerment and effective feedback. Remains calm in chaos, thrives in ambiguity, and delivers results while building a positive working environment.

Rachel graduated from George Washington University with a degree in Business and Marketing.

She is the current Senior Vice President of Retail Partnerships at BANYAN; and worked at Cardlytics, as the Senior Vice President, National Advertiser Partnership. She served as the Vice President, National Advertising Partnerships, Retail Industry Atlanta, leading a group of rock-star Sales Directors, with a focus on national and regional retail client partners. Her team worked tirelessly to drive measurable omni-channel sales and actionable customer insights via the incredible purchase intelligence platform.
