Grantmaking Guidelines
The Atlanta Women’s Foundation in partnership with The Coca-Cola Foundation will award 2012 Girls Empowerment grants of up to $20,000 to nonprofits that provide programs that directly serve girls ages 8-18.
Funding for this special Girls Empowerment initiative has been provided by The Coca-Cola Foundation. The Coca-Cola Foundation is The Coca-Cola Company’s primary international philanthropic arm and partners with organizations around the globe to support initiatives and programs that respond in a meaningful way to community needs and priorities. The Atlanta Women’s Foundation is proud to partner with The Coca-Cola Foundation as we carry out our mission to be a catalyst for change in the lives of women and girls.
The application deadline is February 24th by 5:00 P.M. Please review the eligibility requirements carefully before completing the application. If you have questions, contact DiShonda Hughes at 404.577.5000 extension 104 or dhughes@atlantawomen.org.
Thank you for all the important work you do on behalf of women and girls and we look forward to reading your proposal.
2012 AWF & Coke Girls Empowerment Grant Application
Also, we are excited to announce that The Atlanta Women’s Foundation is undertaking a proprietary research project to learn more about how women and girls experience poverty in our five-county service area. Because this research will deepen AWF’s understanding of the issues impacting women and girls in our community and help shape the Foundation’s grantmaking efforts, we will complete this project before announcing our next grant cycle. We anticipate that our research will be finalized late spring 2012.
